Music Video Contest
Rules and Regulations:
- All entries must be original compositions.
- The length of your submission may not be shorter than 30 seconds, or longer
than 6 minutes.
- You may reuse a previous Anime Music Video (AMV) from another
competition. We will not reject videos from the contest if they have won
awards at other conventions. However, if your video took first place in its
category, then your AMV will be automatically disqualified. This is to give
other people a shot at winning.
- The AniMix AMV contest screening is open to the public, and because of that,
we must be wary of the content we show. Explicit lyrics, violence, or sexual
content may be grounds for disqualification. If you would feel uncomfortable
watching your video with your mother and your six-year-old sister, chances are
we might have a problem showing it.
- Submissions must arrive by midnight on June 1, 2009.
- Convention attendance is not mandatory, though it is recommended.
- AniMix reserves the right to reject any video that does not adhere to the rules
