Android 17-Garlic Junior on Dragon Ball Z, Emperor Pilaf on Dragonball, Hiei on Yu Yu Hakusho, Shou Tucker on Full Metal Alchemist, Hector on Glass Fleet, Father Vaclev Havel in Trinity Blood, Seamus Han in Blue Gender, Adashino on Mushishi, Metal Face on B’tX, The Royal Envoy on Samurai 7, Tanaka on Kodacha, Mohji on One Piece, six different killers on Case Closed, Wong on Burst Angel, Nomura on Grappler Baki, Eishun Konoe on Negima to name a few. He is also on the writing team for One Piece, Baccano and directs for various shows as needed including Sasami, One Piece, and Ouran Host Club. He began acting in Chicago on stage at the Goodman Theater in Marvin’s Room as well as working at the Steppenwolf, Court and Bailiwick theaters. TV/Film credits include The Untouchables (TV) for Fox, Missing Persons for NBC and Going All the Way for Lakeshore Productions. His latest film, The Fragility of Seconds, fragilitythemovie.com, which he produced, wrote and starred in with veteran film actors Matt Tompkins and Julio Cedillo won the Gold Remi Award (3rd place) at the Houston International Film Festival as well as premiering to rave reviews at the USA Film Festival. Chuck is the Southern Regional Director of Pinnacle Performance Company, www.pinper.com, which teaches performance based communication skills to fortune 500 companies. Chuck speaks and gives workshops on the subject of education innovation and curriculum development at various colleges around the country and writes children’s books with his wife. They have five children named Joshua, Sebastian, Gabriel, Sophia and Max. Their first book, Zak and the Three Tree, sold over 5000 copies. Rissa Northrop Rissa is an anime/manga artist who has been drawing non-stop since she first picked up a pencil. Now going to school for Graphic Design and Animation, she loves to learn new techniques and help others with their artwork. Been drawing since I can remember. Comic artist for Pink Rutabaga, W2TRW and Absurd Fav style of drawing is either mature manga like Ghost in the Shell or modern Marvel comic art I was a booth babe in the dealers hall at anime conventions before I got into selling in the artist alley My greatest aspiration is to make my webcomic famous. Heidi Slade Been drawing her whole life. Writer for Pink Rutabaga as well as a Technical Writer professionally and now a writer for Absurd too Grew up drawing Disney-esque styles I dragged her into this. Jon St. John Jon is an American voice actor who got his start as a radio personality (most recently heard on K-EARTH 101 in Los Angeles). He is one of the best-known names in the video game industry because of his remarkable vocal range and long list of credits, including: Duke Nukem, Sonic the Hedgehog, Half-Life, Twisted Metal, Blue Stinger, and Balls of Steel. Jon has been voice-acting for many years and is often heard on national radio, TV commercials, and promos for clients such as HBO, Comcast, Toshiba, NBC, CNN, Nickelodeon and others. J. Shanon Weaver: Voice Actor J. Shanon Weaver was born in Ft. Hood Texas, has lived all over the world, and now calls Austin his home. He is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC and has been acting professionally for 12 years. He is Co-Artistic Director of a theatre company in Austin called A Chick A Dude Productions, with which he has won several awards both in Austin and NYC for the play "HIT " (of which he was both the playwright and a co-star). He is hard at work with the follow up, "Brass Ring", which can be seen this summer in Austin. His voice work for ADV Films includes Himura Kenshin in Samurai X, Taikoubou in Soul Hunter, Makenshi in Final Fantasy: Unlimited, Ginji Amano in GetBackers!, and others. He's also done several radio and television commercials, video games, etc, and can be seen (in his undies!) in the film "ROOM" by Cinepraxis Films. Available on the Netflix! He's quite pleased to be appearing at AniMix Con 2009! Robert Axelrod: Voice Actor Robert Axelrod has carved a career in show business that runs the gamut. Born and raised in New York City, he did commercials and theater as a child and teen. He eventually ending up in the Soho Avant-garde Theater scene in a show called “Little Trips”, then Off-Broadway in a play called “The Destroyers”. Axelrod left acting for the world of music. He spent eight years as a working rock musician playing electric bass and singing in folk, rock, and soul bands. Music brought him to Los Angeles where he decided to return to acting, a decision he never regrets. Since then, Mr. Axelrod has appeared in over thirty feature films including four with Charles Bronson, the Sci-Fi hit remake “The Blob” with Kevin Dillon and Shawnee Smith”, “The Last Shot” with Alec Baldwin and Matthew Broderick, and many others. Television appearances include guest star roles on “Amazing Stories”, “Star Trek Voyager”, and “The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. He also starred in the Michael Jackson music video “Stranger in Moscow”. Mr. Axelrod is also a busy voice over artist. He is the voice of Lord Zedd and Finster on the “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”. The Lord Zedd voice is one of the most recognizable character voices around. |
